Ladies Christmas Bonspiel 2023

The Christmas Bonspiel took place at The Peak, Stirling on Thursday 14 December 2023 at 10.00.

A festive lunch was held afterwards at the Lion and Unicorn in Thornhill.

Each team will play 1 end against every other team, so 5 ends.

A plays B on 1, C on 2, D on 3, E on 3 and F on 1.

B plays A on 1, E on 1, F on 2, D on 2 and C on 2.

C plays D on 2, A on 2, E on 1, F on 1 and B on 2.

D plays C on 2, F on 3, A on 3, B on 2 and E on 3.

E plays F on 3, B on 1, C on 1, A on 3 and D on 3.

F plays E on 3, D on 3, B on 2, C on 1 and A on 1.

Team E were the winners with 4 ends and 6 shots up. Team C were second also with 4 ends but just 4 shots up.

After the bonspiel we drew for Christmas puddings. Each player threw one stone with the nearest stone winning. The winners were Penny Evans, Helen McKinnell and Liz Paterson.
