Annual General Meeting

The 2018 Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 24 April at Balfron Bowling Club. John Cross of Castle Curling Club stepped down after his year as President and Gavin Scott of Fintry Curling Club became President for the new season. Les Watson of Kippen Curling Club became the next Vice President.

Gavin Flemming addressed the meeting to give news of the re-formation of Gargunnock Curling Club. He and the Club were welcomed into the Province pending admission into the RCCC.

Prizes were presented for the various competitions and details were given of the Province's involvement in Area and National competitions.

National Virtual Club Challenege

This was won by the Stirling team which was skipped by Gavin Cross, the son of John Cross of Castle (our current president), and included Paul Mosley, husband of Luisella and a prospective member of Strathendrick, and Rachel Hotchkiss, a member of Buccaneers.

Stirling Area Ladies Pairs

This was won by Fiona Glass and Di Christie of West Stirlingshire Ladies.

Lauren Gray

Lauren Gray of Balfron has been playing in Eve Muirhead's Scotland rink this season. They won the gold medal in the European Championships and finished fourth in South Korea at the Olympics.

Di Jackson of Strathendrick Curling Club stepped down after her year as President and John Cross of Castle Curling Club became President for the new season. Gavin Scott of Fintry Curling Club became the next Vice President.

Prizes were presented for the various competitions and details were given of the Province's involvement in Area and National competitions.
