Annual General Meeting

The 2019 Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 23 April at Balfron Bowling Club. Gavin Scott of Fintry Curling Club stepped down after his year as President and Les Watson of Kippen Curling Club became President for the new season. Donnie Allan of Buchlyvie Curling Club became the next Vice President.

Fiona Glass retired as Secretary after five years and was succeeded by Caroline Davidson of Fintry Curling Club

Prizes were presented for the various competitions and details were given of the Province's involvement in Area and National competitions.

Stirling Ladies Open 2019

This was won by a team including Fiona Glass and Jane McLaren of Strathendrick.

Scottish Women's Junior Championship

The winning team was skipped by Lisa Davie with Anna Skuse at Second. Both are members of the Buccaneers. Anna is the granddaughter of Gillian and Richard Kingslake who are members of Strathendrick.

Henderson Bishop competition

The Stirling play-offs were won by the team of Judy MacKenzie, Fiona Glass, Di Christie (all of West Stirlingshire Ladies) and Kirsty Pender (of Forth Valley Ladies). Sally Macfarlane of Strathendrick substituted for Kirsty in one match. They will be going to the finals in Stranraer in February.

Stirling Area Ladies Pairs

This was won by Fiona Glass and Jane McLaren of Strathendrick.

John Cross of Castle Curling Club stepped down after his year as President and Gavin Scott of Fintry Curling Club became President for the new season. Les Watson of Kippen Curling Club became the next Vice President.

Gavin Flemming addressed the meeting to give news of the re-formation of Gargunnock Curling Club. He and the Club were welcomed into the Province pending admission into the RCCC.

Prizes were presented for the various competitions and details were given of the Province's involvement in Area and National competitions.
