FORTH AND ENDRICK PROVINCE

Province Medal

This is normally played for over 2 sessions, each divided into two periods, with each competing club playing 4 other clubs. The fixture list is given below. Because of the Covid 19 restrictions, the number of ends was limited to 3 for each match.

The date for the 2021 competition was Thursday 11 November in the Stirling Arena at 17.30 and in the National Curling Academy in Stirling at 21.00.

Each match is over THREE ends. The overall winner is decided on the basis of total ends scored over the 4 matches. In the event of a tie, shots difference then total shots decides the winner.

Buchlyvie were one player short in the second session. The normal penalties of the deduction of 1 end and 3 shots for each half were felt to be excessive as each half was restricted to 3 ends. As even these deductions would not affect the end placings in any respect, no deductions have been applied.
