Matches against Other Clubs
Strathendrick Curling Club takes part in a number of competitions with other clubs.
- Robert Paterson Shield ("A" League)
- A series of matches against other teams within the Province. The matches take place from September to March at The Peak, Stirling. The winner of this League will represent the Province at the RCCC Province Championship. Details may be obtained by following this link. Robert Paterson Shield
- Forest Hills League ("B" League)
- A series of matches against other teams within the Province. The matches take place from September to March at The Peak, Stirling. Details may be obtained by following this link. Forest Hills League
- Forth and Endrick Knockout (Jim Carswell Cup)
- A knockout competition held at The Peak, Stirling. A Strathendrick team is entered each year. This competition will be a single knockout High Road and a double knockout Low Road. Details may be obtained by following this link. Forth & Endrick Knockout
- Province Medal
- This is played for at The Peak, Stirling in October or November each year. Two Strathendrick teams will play two 4 end matches each against four teams from the Province. Details may be obtained by following this link. Province Medal
- Gordon Mitchell Rosebowl
- This is played for at The Peak, Stirling in February/March each year. Two Strathendrick teams will play two 4 end matches each against four teams from the Province. Details may be obtained by following this link. Gordon Mitchell Rosebowl
- Province Day (Forest Hills Trophy)
- This is played at Kinross Curling Rink each October. A Strathendrick team is entered to compete against other Province clubs in a fun competition. Details may be obtained from the Province website by following this link. Province Weekend
- Forth Valley Area Bonspiel
- This is played for at The Peak, Stirling in January each year. A Strathendrick team is entered each year to play against a team from another Province within Forth Valley Area. Details may be obtained by following this link. Forth Valley Area Bonspiel
- Forth Valley Area Knockout
- This is played for at The Peak, Stirling between September and December each year. A Strathendrick team will be playing in the competition in the 2024/25 season. Details of the competition may be obtained by following this link. Forth Valley Area Knockout
- District Medal
- It has been decided not to enter the RCCC District Medal against another RCCC registered club in 2024/25. If it is decided to enter this competition in the future, details would be entered in curling fixtures once the match has been arranged.
- Ballikinrain Cup
- 2 Strathendrick teams play each year in the Ballikinrain Cup against teams from Balfron and Kippen Curling Clubs. Until 2020 Fintry Curling Club was the third club but as it has now been wound up, Kippen were asked to take their place. This trophy dates back to the days of outside competitions but is now competed for on inside ice. See curling fixtures for more details. For list of past winners click here.
- Balyarrow Trophy
- Strathendrick teams play every 3 years in the Balyarrow Trophy against teams from Haddington, Bridge of Weir, Falkland and St Andrews Curling Clubs. This trophy was inaugurated in 1996, when the 5 clubs all celebrated their 150th anniversary. The next competition was due to take place in the 2020/21 season, but was eventually played on 18 February 2023. Strathendrick is due to arrange the next match in 2026.
