Ladies Christmas Bonspiel 2025

The Christmas Bonspiel is scheduled to take place at The Peak, Stirling on Thursday 11 December 2025 at 10.00.

A festive lunch will be held afterwards at the Lion & Unicorn, Thornhill.

Each team will play 1 end against every other team, making 5 ends. If 6 are possible repeat 5 end. There were "fun" elements to 4 of the ends.

A plays B on 1, F on 2, C on 1, E on 3 and D on 3.

B plays A on 1, C on 3, E on 2, D on 1 and F on 1.

C plays D on 2, B on 3, A on 1, F on 2 and E on 2.

D plays C on 2, E on 1, F on 3, B on 1 and A on 3.

E plays F on 3, D on 1, B on 2, A on 3 and C on 2.

F plays E on 3, A on 2, D on 3, C on 2 and B on 1.

The winners were Team E with 4 ends and 15 points from the various scoring methods.

After the bonspiel we drew for Christmas puddings. Each player threw one stone with the nearest stone winning. The winners were Helen McKinnell, Penny Evans and Anne MacKay.

There was also a prize for the best Christmas wear which was won by Gillian Kingslake.
